ABOUT SWAND®
The idea of SWAND®️ came while gazing at my yoga teacher’s altar, I noticed a cluster of candle tools. In that moment, I envisioned a single, beautifully tool, for candle care and ritual. Then, while mentoring a group of female entrepreneurs at Virginia Tech, the journey began. Many twists and turns, pauses and evolutions, the super wand that looks like a Swan, SWAND®️, was born!
The journey to manufacturing SWAND®️ was filled with challenges and tough decisions. However, after unsuccessful attempts in Portugal, Los Angeles, and Korea, a contact led us to a small factory in China. There, we witnessed their commitment to human rights, ethical practices, and craftsmanship. In China we found a partner that aligned with our brand values, from using FSC-certified materials and up-cycled metals, to hand casting each one-SWAND-of-a-kind with integrity.
OUR COMMITMENT
We are proud to partner with Women for Women International in supporting women affected by conflict and war. For every SWAND® purchased, $2 are donated to provide education, resources, and a pathway for these women. Together, we're lighting the way for women as they reclaim their power and rebuild a brighter future.
